Rosey Blackmore

Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist for Young People and Adults, MBACP

Meet Rosey…

Hello, I’m a BACP registered integrative counsellor/psychotherapist working both in person and online, experienced in working with both young people and adults across a wide range of concerns. These include anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and also the challenges experienced by those identifying as neurodivergent.

Working ‘integratively’ means that I draw on a range of different counselling theories and ideas, but always with the aim of finding the way of working that is best for you. My goal is to create a welcoming and confidential space where together we can explore the reasons that have brought you to therapy, and co-create a better future.

Sometimes, it is possible for us to make changes in life that enable us to live happier, better lives. At other times, we are not able to change the circumstances that we are finding difficult- but it can still be possible to develop new ways of understanding ourselves, our feelings, and our situations.

I trained locally through Off the Record, Twickenham, counselling young people aged 11-24, and have worked as a counsellor for the local charity Skylarks, supporting families with young people with additional needs. I am also a volunteer supervisor for the charity The Listening Place, supporting people who feel life is no longer worth living.

I am a member of the BACP, and have a PGDip in Counselling/Psychotherapy.

Specialisms: Young people, adults, neurodiversity, anxiety, low self esteem, relationship/relational issues
