Samantha Boyle
BAPT Registered Play Therapist (MA), MBACP
I am a BAPT-registered Play Therapist and an accredited member of BACP (MBACP Accred), having completed the additional examinations and professional criteria required for accreditation. My practice is grounded in evidence-based therapeutic approaches that support children, young people and adults who may find it difficult to express their experiences through traditional talking therapies.
I have extensive experience working with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and neurodevelopmental needs, including trauma, attachment difficulties, ADHD, ASD, bereavement, anxiety, and challenges in family or school relationships. My approach is relational, trauma-informed and neuro-affirming, offering a safe, attuned and creative space where clients can explore their inner world through play, art, sensory work and symbol-based processes.
Alongside individual therapy, I provide specialist support for parents, carers and families. I offer Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), DDP-informed parenting support, Video Interactive Guidance (VIG), therapeutic family group work and school consultations. My aim is to strengthen connection, develop co-regulation, and build emotional understanding within families and educational settings. I believe that collaborative working is essential, and partnership with parents, carers and schools is at the heart of every positive therapeutic outcome.
